Carol has been a life saver for me.  I have a stressful job that keeps me sitting at a computer or at a meeting for 10 to 12 hours a day for period of 4 - 5 months during our busy season.  This leaves me with a frozen shoulder and aching hips every year.  Carol has helped me make it through this past winter using her outstanding massage techniques to free me from pain and allow me to sleep.  She has an

in-depth knowledge of the body and is not afraid to try different massage methods to help her clients find relief.  I highly recommend Carol and cannot thank her enough.    E.S.

I am writing this as a general referral for Rev. Carol Lipkin's massage therapy capabilities.  From my being in almost constant pain, she has absolutely helped to restore my life back to some normalcy.  I would never before thought about using massage therapy, but was desperate for some relief 3 years after an injury cost me a major tendon in my left ankle.

You wouldn’t think that this would cause so much angst, but this makes me walk very awkwardly and with a limp.  This in turn, puts great stress on my right side, hip, leg and knee. They have to work hard to compensate for the missing power on the left and pull my body through my stride.

Over time my body became super tight and all knotted up.  I was walking all hunched up forward.  It hurt to stand up, it hurt to walk, it hurt to lay in bed and I couldn’t really straighten up.  8 months ago, Carol suggested that she might be able to help me (we were taking yoga from her so she had a chance to see me first hand).  I took a chance, went through our first deep muscle massage therapy session and immediately after there was pain relief.  It took 2 or 3 sessions to totally get back to a pretty normal state.

I went home and my wife said, “my gosh, you’re standing up straight!”.  And I was, and it was painless, and I was loose.  I could suddenly stand, walk and lay down without pain.  Now it’s true, because I have an ongoing injury, my right side gradually reverts to being knotted, tight, stiff and generally locked up over 2 or 3 weeks.

It can certainly be depressing to have to live with constant pain and have no answer.  Carol has to do her magic 2 or 3 times a month.  And for me, knowing that I have an answer to the muscle pain, stiffness and lack of mobility is just such a relief.  Suddenly that is a light at the end of the tunnel.
